Nadiem Makarim (born 1984) is an Indonesianentrepreneur. He founded Go-Jek in 2010, a transportation network company and logisticstartup company that became Indonesia's first decacorn company.[1]
Nadiem finished his high school in Jakarta and went to Brown University for a BA and then to Harvard University for an MBA. Makarim started his career at McKinsey & Company as management consultant in Jakarta. He left to co-found Zalora, an online fashion shop, then left Zalora to become Chief Innovation Officer at Kartuku, a payments service provider.
Makarim often uses a motorcyle taxi, known in Indonesia as an Ojek. He saw this as a business opportunity and developed it into Go-Jek, founded in 2010.[3][4]
Go-Jek was well received, and eventually received US$ 1,3 billion funding from investors, in a 2018 round led by Alphabet Inc's Google, JD.com Inc and Tencent Holdings. It thereby became the first Indonesian Unicorn.[5] By 2019, the firm was worth up to US$ 10 billion[6] and Southeast Asia’s second "decacorn" after rival Grab.










Why i choose him because i can learn from him,that you have to care to the  others,and you just a social people,everybody needs everyone,so like he can solve a lot of peoiple problem, and that is a public transpotation which is he create this app,gojek and not just that he create a job that many people can get the job,just with smartphone and vehichle
